About
Yas Marina in Abu Dhabi is one of the newer circuits in the world, and is the only circuit on the island of Abu Dhabi in the UAE. Designed by Herman Tilke, the main track is 5.5KM long and currently features on the Formula 1 calendar. One of the awesome features of the track is the hotel above the track, which changes colour at night and really adds to the whole feel of the circuit. It is situated just next to a Marina, which leads many to compare it to the Monaco circuit. One of the other unique features is the pitlane, which goes through a tunnel under the track, and is extremely tight!
