Winton Motor Raceway is 3KM circuit in Winton, near Benalla, Victoria, Australia. Built in 1961, the track has been in use as a permanent venue ever since, and is one of the most active small tracks in Australia. Over the years the circuit hosted larger and larger events, and in 1997 the track was extended. The Club undertook a $500,000 upgrade in 1995 with the widening of some sections of the track and a new surface laid. Two years late, a 1KM extension took place, as well as new pit buildings which brought the circuit upto date. Part of this work was wrecked in 2000, just before the biggest event of the year as the main contol building was burnt down, but it was built and completed in time for the event.
