Timaru Race Track (Previously known as levels) is located around 8KM from Timaru, New Zealand. Built in 1967, the South Canterbury car club had been running hill climb events for years, but the time came for a permanent circuit. In 1988 the decision was made to lengthen the circuit, and to aim for the FIA level 3 standard. Now 2.4KM long, the track has a mix of slow corners and fast corners, meaning it can be difficult to set the car up.
