Teretonga Park is a permanent race circuit situated 8KM south-west of Invercargill, New Zealand. It is home of the Southland Sports Car Club. The circuit initially took shape in 1957 and is said to be the southern most race track in the world. It is also the country’s oldest purpose built venue. The track is just over 2.5KM long, with a fast start finish straight of 800M, and is said to be one of the fastest circuit in New Zealand. Several different series are held at the track, including Porsche GT3, TRS, Suzuki Swift Cup, and the New Zealand Grand Prix, one of only three Grand Prix which are not Formula 1 events.
