Constructed for the first time in 2009, the Homebush Street Circuit is a temporary street track, built around the old Olympic precinct, from the 2002 Olympics. After the success of the circuit for the final round of the Australian V8 championship, it will be used again in 2010 for the finale. Looking at the layout of the circuit, it is just over 3KM long, with a downhill start. The circuit was designed by Mark Skaife. With the idea of creating a challenging circuit, it turned out pretty well! Due to the nature of the track being built mainly on public roads, there are plenty of bumps and camber changes, meaning a stable car is crucial.
