Suzuka in Japan is the location for one of the greatest driver circuits in the world. The track was originally designed in 1962 as a Honda test circuit, and in 1987 held it’s first Formula 1 race. Once you look at the track itself, it becomes apparent why it is so popular! The track features a unique figure of 8 layout meaning a crossover is found on the circuit. The fastest corner on the track is 130R, named because it could be taken at 130MPH and was a right hander, although the speeds some cars achieve round it are now much higher! Passing at the track is an option once the first sector is out of the way, with the final chicane being popular. Another attraction for the fans is the theme park situated at the circuit, with a huge Ferris wheel, arguably the best place to watch the racing from. Facilities at the track are predictably of a high standard, in immaculate condition and everything you could possibly need.
