Sturup Raceway is a permanent track, located in Svedala, Sweden. Originally opening in 1972, the circuit started life as a Rallycross track, and this layout continued until 1990, when the whole layout changed to asphalt, producing the first full asphalt layout we know today. It was not until 2004/5 that an extension took place, to increase the length and layout, which is now 2.1KM. As well as this they also added a new pit lane to the circuit. Currently the circuit does not hold a huge amount of racing, but it is used substantially for driver development and testing.
