The Automotodróm Slovakia Ring is the largest permanent race track in Slovakia. Built during 2008/2009 it’s been designed to bring large Motorsport events to the region, and boost tourism in the area. In 2012 the World Touring Car Championship and the World Superbikes will visit the venue, opening the track to two of the biggest Motorsport series in the world. As a new venue it’s impeccably designed, with several different layouts available and spectators. It compromised of a large number of hairpins and medium speed corners, with a large number of overtaking places. It’s just over 30KM from the Bratislava Airport, so transport links are fantastic. The overall facilities are at a very high standard, and as well as the track they also offer driving experiences and track days.
