The Shannonville Motorsport Park is a Canadian motorsport race circuit. The track houses several different series throughout the year, including motorcycles and drag racing, but is also used for testing. Originally the track started as a dirt oval, after a few year, the 1.8km “Nelson” circuit was built, named after the late John Nelson, owner of the circuit at the time. It has been expanded several times over and is now over 4KM long with 14 corners. Another feature of the track is the run off areas, which are large making it a very safe circuit. As well as the main track and drag strip, there is also a CIK licenced Kart track, used for some of the largest Kart events in Canada.
