Road America

Road America is a permanent road course, located near Elkhart lake, USA. Built in the mid 1950′s, the circuit has hosted a wide range of different events (Nascar, ALMS, Superbikes etc), on four wheels and two. The circuit is located on over 500 acres of farmland, and was built to stop racing on the public highway. The configuration of the track, a 14 corner, 4 mile circuit has never changed, and is one of the few circuits which can claim this! Facilities at the track are good, with a crowd capacity of well over 100,000, including over 20,000 grandstand seats. Over the years the facilities have improved, and new surfaces have been laid but always in the same layout.
