Many fans and drivers class the real circuit as the old one, the famous Nordschleife. First built in 1927, after street racing was deemed to be too dangerous, the circuit had 174 bends, quite a large amount! After WW2, racing resumed on the circuit. The length, reduced to just under 13 miles then became one of the best circuit on the F1 calendar. Today the circuit is open to the public to drive, for a small fee. One thing to do if you an interested in Motorsport is visit the ring, simply stunning!
