win Ring Motegi is a circuit located at Motegi in Japan. The venue has two circuits, one being a road course, and the other an oval circuit. Built in 1997 by Honda, the idea was to bring Indycar to Japan. The oval is the only one in Japan, and is only used once a year, which is why the road course was built at the same time. The road course is much longer, at 4.8KM and does not share any of the track with the oval track. As well as this track, the venue also has another smaller road course, as well as a Kart and Dirt track. One of the problems with combining the two venues is that viewing at the circuit is not great, because grandstands get in the way of each other. The other main problem is the access to the circuit, which is very limited, and accommodation near the track is non existent bar the on site hotel!
