Mission Raceway Park, also known as MRP, is a Motorsport facility which is situated in Mission, British Columbia, Canada. It’s a large permanent Motorsport venue which has three main uses; for Circuit racing, Drag racing and Motocross. The current race track opened in 1992, starting with the Drag racing track. The road course opened at the venue in the same year, and after two years they started racing at the track. It runs around the outside of the drag strip, as well as using part of it for the track. A couple of changes took place at the track in 2008 which sped the speed up; these reverted back for 2010 after a motorcyclist had a fatal crash on that section of the track. Facilities at the track are reasonably good, with grandstands lining the length of the quarter mile drag strip, a permanent control tower is also found at the track.
