Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course is a road course located near Lexington, USA. Opening in 1962, the circuit started with 15 corners and just over 2.4 miles long. They also opened with two separate start lines, one located on the backstretch to allow for safer rolling starts with the other regular start/finish line is located on the pit straight. In 1982 after a take over, the facilities improved, with the whole track got resurfaced, along with various other improvements. They also developed a shorter track, with 13 corners and just over 2.25 miles. In 2006 more renovation work took place, and a motocross circuit added. The seating capacity now sits at just over 75,000, with one main grandstand and the rest in designated seating areas.
