McNamara Park

McNamara Park, (Commonly known as Mac Park) is a race track, located near Mount Gambier in South Australia. Opening in the 1960′s, it has been in use ever since, mainly for Motorcycle events. The club which owns the track has been active (on and off) for nearly 100 years, and is the oldest club in Australia. Looking at the track, the main layout is 2.4KM with 12 corners and runs in a clockwise direction. As well as the main track, a shorter route can be taken, which comes in at 1.8KM. In recent years work has taken place to improve the facility, with resurfacing removing some of the bumps which had found there way onto the track.
