Lime Rock Park is located near a small hamlet in Lakeville, USA. The circuit is set in the countryside, and is sat on a natural hill, meaning cambered corners and some changes in altitude. Owned by Skip Barber (Of the Racing school) the circuit has been in operation since 1955. Not being one of the larger circuits, it only has seven corners, and no grandstand seating. Do not let this put anybody off though, as a driver it is still a challenge to drive, and as a spectator the viewing areas are superb sat on the hillside overlooking the circuit. Originally built on an old gravel pit, in 1955, it has not changed very much since then! In 2008 a major reconstruction of the circuit took place, replacing some of the safety fencing and the course itself, however it lost none of the character and is still a must see circuit on the American sportscar seen.
