The Kerpen Kart Track is a National level Kart track which is located near Kerpen in Germany. The track is owned and run by the Kerpen Kart Track who host a club championship as well as larger National level events. Opening in 1980, it’s seen a substantial amount of use over the years, however no major changes have been made. It can be run in both directions; they have only done this since 2005 though. One big positive for the track is one of the local Karters who has been a prominent figure in International Motorsport. It’s the home track of a guy called Michael Schumacher..! He can be seen competing at the track during the off season which is a big boost for the track. Looking at the track is 1.1KM long, with 12 corners. It’s a high speed track with several challenging corners. Facilities at the track are excellent, a camping area with electricity and water; full restaurant facilities, club house and workshop.
