Hampton Downs Motorsport Park is situated in North Waikato, New Zealand. Completed in 2009, the purpose built facility is an undulating 3.8KM circuit, with 10 corners. Following the trend of modern race circuits, the venue has two different layouts which can be used depending on the vehicles using the circuit. They are aiming to build the first motorsprt village in New Zealand, and are going in the right direction with the WRC having already visited to boost the profile, and the other facilities (Kart Track, Driver training, Showrooms etc) they have. The track is in a natural bowl, surrounded by 450 acres of countryside. With this exceptional natural advantage, most of the race track is visible from any point.
