Guangdong International Circuit

Guangdong International Circuit is a new motor sport facility located between Zhaoqing and Sanshui city in China. It is the tsecond permanent motor sport venue in Guangdong, China, after Zhuhai International Circuit. Completed in 2009, the circuit will play host to the Chinese touring car championship and the Chinese Superbike championship as well as some other smaller events. It had been considered as a venue for the WTCC, but this did not materialise. The track is also applying for an FIA Grade 2 license so they can hold larger events.
