The Gotland Ring is a new racetrack and multi functional motorsport facility on the Swedish island of Gotland. Finished in 2009, the circuit is the newest circuit in Sweden, and only recieved the FIA stamp of approval (for the northern loop) in June 2009. The circuit was designed by the owner, Alec Arho Havrén. Looking at the long term goals for the circuit, the track is designed to be used on a day to day basis, rather than once a month for large race venues. When completed, the final layout will be 28KM long, the longest circuit in the world. As well as the main tracks, rally stages will also be included in the venue.
