Goodwood Race circuit is a fast circuit located near the south coast of England. Built just after WW2, the track hosted one of the first race meetings after the war ended. The circuit held various events and a 9 hour endurance race for several years, however the track closed in 1966 as the owners refused to modify the track to slow it down. Racing did not return until 1998, when small historic cars used the circuit, and now it is also used for track days. The Goodwood festival of speed is the biggest event of the year, when some of the best cars in the world are displayed and raced up the hill climb stage, from F1 cars, to Le Mans, via WRC, they are all on display and being driven!
