Fiorano Race Track is a permanent race track, in Maranello, Italy. It’s owned by Ferrari, who used to use it extensively for testing Formula 1 cars, but since the in season testing ban it’s mainly used for testing road cars. The circuit is one of the few which feature a figure of eight layout, and is reasonably short at 1.9 Miles. It’s a layout which combines every different aspect of a trace track, enabling them to test each aspect of the car for all the possible different layouts. They’ve got a full timing system as well as watering facilities for testing cars in the wet. It’s part of the full Ferrari complex, if you are in the area make sure you visit the museum, stunning!
