The Durban street circuit is a 3.2 KM (2.0 Miles) street circuit, which is located in Durban, South Africa. The circuit is usually only used once a year, and the main use from 2005-2008, was for the A1GP. This series did not last into the 2009/10 season, so the circuit now will play host to the FIA GT1 championship. The seating capacity at the circuit is 22,000 although there is room for a lot more! The circuit is very fast for a street circuit with the predicted bumps, making it a challenge to drive and super to watch. One of the problems with the track, is the fact that it is all a very tight squeeze, with not a huge amount of room.
