The Curborough Hillclimb is one of the leading National Hillclimbs within the UK. Located just north of Birmingham, the venue is situated on an old RAF airfield. The first sprint racing took place in 1960, and the track has developed since. It’s a permanent venue which is soley used for hillclimbing and sprint racing. It’s a unique venue because it loops back on itself and doesn’t have a huge gradient change. This then means spectating at the track is fantastic, with views of most of the track available from any one position. Facilities at the track have also been improved in recent years, it’s now more of a permanent racing facility with a large patio eating area, more space for car parking and toiletry facilities.
