Circuito Vasco Sameiro

The Circuito de Velocidade Vasco Sameiro (also known as Circuit of Braga) is a permanent circuit, north of Braga, Portugal. Built in 1990, the circuit was constructed around the local aerodrome, and is just over 3KM in length. The main circuit is unusual for a European venue, in that it runs in an anti clockwise direction. As well as the main track they also have a Kart track which has hosted International events in the past. The main circuit is used mainly for national level touring cars, however in 2009 it did hold a larger European level event, the ETC. The kart circuit is used a substantial amount, with the club championship running as well as several international events.
