The Circuito del Jarama (Circuit of Jarama), formerly known as Circuito Permanente del Jarama is a 3.4KM permanent track in Spain. Designed by John Hugenholtz (who also created Zandvoort and Suzuka), the track was built in 1967, on a derelict patch if land near Madrid. The layout of the track is one of the reasons it is not used often anymore, a short start finish straight, with most of the circuit being very tight and twisty, as well as the track being extremely narrow.
