Circuito da Boavista is a street track right by the ocean, in Porto, Portugal. It’s been used in the past for the FIA Formula 1 World Championship, although these events took place in 1958 and 1960, a long time ago! As a street track it didn’t get used for a long time, until in 2005 they revived the track. It’s since been used for the World Touring Car Championship, who are visiting the venue in 2011 and do so every other year. When looking at the track layout it has two distinct sections, the first being the high speed straight and the second being the more technical second half of the lap. If you get the chance to go we would thoroughly recommend it, the city is a fantastic place and there are several good vantage points to watch the on track action, which also have screens to watch the action.
