Chengdu Goldenport International Circuit is a permanent race track in Chengdu, Peoples Republic of China. The track is an FIA Grade 2 circuit, and facilities at the track are good, although the track surface itself is quite old, meaning it’s very bumpy. A couple of possible reasons for this; it’s in an earthquake zone and built on marshland! The largest event to visit the venue was the A1GP series which no longer exists, they enjoyed the track but again complained of the huge bumps, some so big that puddles of water sat in them all weekend. It’s also held a round of the Asian Touring Car Championship, but recently has only held smaller events.
