The Masaryk circuit, known to most as Brno is located near the city of Brno in the Czech Republic. Before and after WW2 the track was used in a 19 mile configuration, which is sadly not in use today! In 1962 it was shorted to just over 8 miles, and today the length is just over 3 miles which was built in the late 1980′s. Today the main event at the circuit is the Moto GP, although it is still used for the WTCC and Superbike championships as well. Brno is one of the few circuits where overtaking is possible nearly everywhere, with the change in altitude and flowing nature of the circuit. Many of the MotoGP riders regard it as one of the best circuits of the year, and for very good reason.
