Anderstorp Raceway is a permanent track, in Sweden. Built in 1968 on marshland, the circuit proved extremely popular in the 1970′s and hosted six rounds of the Formula 1 World Championship. The raceway hosted six Formula One Swedish Grand Prix events in the ’70s, however after two deaths in the 78 GP, support for the event disappeared and the event came to an end. Looking at the layout, it is just over 4KM long, with only 8 corners. Currently events at the circuit are mostly national level, with track days operating too, the last major international event took place in 2008, the World Touring Car Championship.
