About

The Honda Indy Toronto is temporary street circuit used annually for the IndyCar Series race, held in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The circuit first took shape in 1977, and has held various different series since then. Previously known as the Molson Indy Toronto, it used to be a Champ Car World Series race up until 2007. After Champcar and Indy car merged in 2008, the venue looked uncertain to continue, and it had to be cancelled in 2008, however it was back on for 2009. Looking at the circuit layout, it has 11 corners and is just over 1.75 miles long. As well as this, the walls and bumps add to the excitement, and the twisty nature make it physically very tough. If you just want to go down and have a look, remember that friday entrance is free!
