Blyton Park is a motorsport centre which is located near Gainsborough in the UK. It’s a driving centre which hosts a round of the MSA British Rallycross Championship, in 2011 it’s going to be a night event where the track and facilities will all be flood lit. As many race tracks are, Blyton is based on a WW” Airfield and as such has huge tarmac areas providing plenty of space. Racing at the track now includes Rallycross, Sprints and Rallying, however circuit racing no longer takes place and the Stock car track has been decommissioned. Looking at the Rallycross track it’s essentially an Oval! Just after the start there is a chicane but apart from that the rest of the track is basically a D shape oval. This means it’s very high speed and is loved by a lot of the drivers, which is why the British Championship visits year after year. Spectating at the track is fantastic, with several banks in place meaning the whole track can be seen from certain positions.
