About

Baltimore Grand Prix is a street course, located in downtown Baltimore, USA. It’s a temporary road course which is being used for the first time in 2011, with the primary uses being for IndyCar and the American Le Mans Series. Based around the inner harbor means it’s a super tight and twisty track, with a couple of long straights joined up by hairpins and low speed chicanes. Measuring 2.1 Miles the tracks starts on one of Baltimore’s main roads – meaning it’s pretty chaotic around the area when racing is on! It contains 12 corners and runs in a clockwise directions – the longest straight on the track is 0.5 Miles. If you’re visiting the track they’ve got 13 grandstands dotted around the track, as well as 5 bridges if you want a birds eye view of the racing. Make sure you get to the track early – being a street course means that traffic around the area can be absolute chaos.
